The cast and creative team are helmed by Hued Songs’ Executive Artistic Director Kunya Rowley, and include an array of local and international talents including leading vocalists and an incredible band under the direction of Musical Director King Friday; dance from Zest Collective under the direction of Gentry George; original text and poetry by Arsimmer McCoy and creative producer Miriam King; and set projections and digital scenes rendered by Bajan artist and creative Russell Watson.

Piano Slam 14 / April 21st, 2022
We all can carry multiple worlds inside our hearts. In a way, the more worlds we carry, the bigger our hearts and the more experiences we can accommodate inside.
Martin Bejerano‘s “Fantasia de Tres Mundos” is about multiple worlds. It is also the musical core of Piano Slam on the theme of My Music, My Humanness, My Home.
Zest Collective joins Dranoff 2 Piano for a classical, hip-hop, and spoken word mash-up featuring Miami's top teen poets, the Alonso Brothers, Afrobeta, and the music of Martin Bejerano.

Danza Debuts / June 16th, 2017
United Palace of Cultural Arts presents its inaugural “Danza Debuts,” a program that features emerging choreographers who created original works to debut on the Palace stage. The two choreographers are Virgil Gadson, a top 4 finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance?” Season 12, and Cassie Nordgren, curator of the “Danza Highbridge” festival.
Kicking off the program will be a special performance by students from Dance Project of Washington Heights, the nonprofit that holds over 30 dance classes a week at the United Palace, led by ZEST’s Artistic Director Gentry George.

This February ZEST Collective Dance celebrates Black History, presented by Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens, FL.
Our production is entitled "The Experience: A JOURNEY to Freedom," and features liturgical dance by the church's youth ministry, as well as traditional tunes sung by the award-winning choir.

Higher Ground Festival / June 30th, 2016
Thursday, June 30th, ZEST Collective will premiere a new performance project entitled ‘Inferno’. The work honors the life of Bruce Reynolds, a port authority police officer, who on the morning of September 11, 2001, rushed from his post at the George Washington Bridge into the inferno at the World Trade Center, sacrificing his life to save others.
The ballet features original compositions by Mikael Karlsson and Aaron Scott.

'Courageous Chapel' - Broward County Main Library / March 16th, 2016
South Florida Native Son, Gentry George, returns home from Washington Heights, NYC to present a special one night performance titled, "Courageous Chapel, Abandoning Theater," at the Broward County Main Library Theater in Fort Lauderdale. The project contains three danced ‘short stories,’ a Dj’s operatic interlude, and the finale re-interprets traditional gospel songs and spiritual dances through a collage of modern choreography by George and members of his ZEST Collective featuring riveting music from Elvis Presley, Echoes of Nature, Inez Matthews, Jessye Norman and Peyman Yazdanian.

Bruce Reynolds' Memorial garden / July 25th, 2015
The Saturday Performance Series at Bruce’s Garden was started by Inwood resident Aaron Scott and honors the memory of Bruce Reynolds (1960-2001), a Port Authority Police Officer, who on the morning of September 11th, 2001, rushed from his post at the George Washington Bridge into the inferno of the World Trade Center, sacrificing his life to save others. The new Dance performance series will run every 4th Saturday throughout October. Be sure the catch world premieres by ZEST and EM (Mariusz Kujawski and Emma Fitzsimmons).

Higher Ground Festival / June 27th, 2015
ZEST has been chosen to participate in the 2015 inaugural performance of the Higher Ground Festival! We will team up with Film-Makers Renée Silverman and Peter Miller as well as famed Magician Harry Mandel to present SOSÚA: Make A Better World. The work investigates the tiny settlement by which the film is named that served as a haven for Jewish refugees during Second World War, and as reflected by contemporary stories.

EMoves 16: THE TAKEOVER / April 28th, 2015
ZEST has been invited to present a site specific movement series as part of EMoves 16: THE TAKEOVER. ZEST will premiere FETUS along with Electronic Guitarist Dylan Sneed. The work is divided in six parts and remarks, through gesture, the complexities and diversity of millennial culture. Nine sculptural bodies descend into detail symbolic representations of spring and decay.
